About Us

The SOS Africa Charity is a small, non-profit, UK registered, predominantly volunteer-run African charity, which funds the education and care of underprivileged African township children. We believe that the only way to break the cycle of poverty which continues to haunt African societies is through the provision of education to Africa’s future generations. You can help us achieve this by agreeing to sponsor a child in Africa, make a donation to or raise funds for our African charity.

SOS Africa is unique because:

"We guarantee our sponsors that every penny raised for or donated to SOS Africa will be invested in the futures of the children we support - all expenses are covered by Gift Aid."

In addition to this pledge, because SOS Africa is smaller than other African charities, we are able to provide a more personal service; if you sponsor an African child through SOS Africa, we will regularly update you with your child's progress by sending you school reports, photo albums, letters etc. It is entirely up to you how much or how little you get involved. Furthermore SOS Africa has also just introduced the first ever SOS Africa's Children's Online Blog.

If you have any questions about SOS Africa, feel free to contact us via email: info@sosafrica.com or by phone: 01749340426.

Thank you for your support.
